Youth Summer Baseball
Register from February 1 – April 12, 2019
The Youth Summer Ball Program, sponsored by North of the River Recreation and Park District, is based on principles that fulfill three goals designed to develop high ideals of health, citizenship and character that will last a lifetime:
- Instill a sense of sportsmanship, fair play, and team spirit.
- Acquaint players with the fundamental rules of baseball; and,
- Promote safety awareness in athletics.
Register at either the Greenacres Community Center, 2014 Calloway Drive; Riverview Community Center, 401 Willow Drive; or RiverLakes Ranch Community Center, 3825 Riverlakes Drive; between 8am and 5pm Monday through Friday. All first year Coed Tee-Ball players must provide a copy of their proof of birth date. Age is as of August 1, 2019. No Exceptions!
Coed T-Ball: $80/$65 resident fee
Baseball/Softball: $110/$95 resident fee
Fee includes new uniform top, pants, socks, shorts for girls, cap and team/individual pictures.
Practices:Summer Ball practices begin the week of May 6. Games begin the week of June 1 and end July 12. Games are played Monday through Friday.
Coed Tee-Ball games are played Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Coaching a team
Youth Summerball coaches and assistant coaches are volunteers and will need to complete the volunteer paperwork and submit to fingerprinting to be eligible for volunteer service. Please contact the Personnel Office to schedule an appointment as soon as possible to help avoid any delays in volunteer service.
**PARENTS: All NOR volunteers must pass a fingerprint clearance through the Dept. of Justice PRIOR to the start of practices. In order to avoid any delays in service, please schedule an appointment with the Personnel Office as soon as possible.
